Product Description
Spring plunger basic switch offers longer Over Travel (OT) – the distance the plunger travels past the operating point in this direction – than the pin plunger model and therefore a wider range of application. Two types of spring plungers are available and the length can be customized. Internal flat spring design delivers optimum performance and switch reliability. The greatest precision is achieved by actuating the switch at the plunger, parallel to the plunger axis.

Application
Renew’s basic switches play a critical role in ensuring the safety, precision, and reliability of various devices across different fields. Here are some popular or potential application.
Sensors and monitoring devices
Often used in industrial-grade sensors and monitoring devices to control pressure and flow by serving as a snap-action mechanism within the devices.
Elevators and lifting equipment
Installed on the edges of elevator doors to detect whether the doors are fully closed or open, and can be used to detect the precise position of the elevator car at each floor.
Warehouse logistics
Widely used in warehousing and logistics scenarios such as hoists and forklifts for material handling, providing position signal and ensuring precise and safe stopping.
