Application
Renew’s miniature basic switches are widely used in industrial equipment and facilities or consumer and commercial devices such as office equipment and home appliances for position detection, open and closed detection, automatic control, safety protection, etc. Here are some popular or potential application.

Home Appliances
Widely used in various kinds of home appliances to detect their door status. For example, switch in door interlock of washing machine that disconnects power if door opened.

Medical instrumentation
In medical and dental equipment, often used in foot switches to precisely control the operation of dental drills and to adjust the positioning of examination chairs.

Valves and Flow Meters
Employed on valves to monitor the position of the valve handle by indicating if the switch is actuated. In this case, basic switches perform position sensing on cams with no power consumption.
