Product Description
Renew’s RL8 series miniature limit switches feature greater durability and resistance to harsh environments, up to 10 million operations of mechanical life, making them suitable for critical and heavy-duty roles where normal basic switches could not be used. These switches have a split-housing design made of a die-cast zinc alloy body and thermoplastic cover. The cover is removable for easy access and ease of installation. The compact design allows the limit switches to be used in applications where limited mounting space is available.

Application
Renew’s miniature limit switches play a critical role in ensuring the safety, precision, and reliability of various devices across different fields. Here are some popular or potential application.
Robotics and Automated Assembly Lines
In robotics, these switches are used to determine the position of robotic arms. For instance, a sealed plunger limit switch can detect when a robotic arm reaches its end of travel, sending a signal to the control system to stop movement or to reverse direction, ensuring precise control and preventing mechanical damage.
